HOW IT WORKS

From a PDF or Word file to a position, in about five minutes.

You don't get a summary. You get a graded list of everything that matters in the contract, written from the perspective of the party you actually are — and then you decide what to do about each item.

Four steps: upload the contract; the document is read and its type, parties and governing law extracted; three AI lawyers review it; you triage each finding and get redlines. 01 Upload contract.pdf 02 Read TYPE Employment Offer PARTIES You · Northwind Retail GOVERNING LAW California YOU REPRESENT You 03 Reviewed A Aden · findings S Sara · critique L Liam · angles 12 findings · 3 critical 04 Decide Ask to change this Fine by me Not relevant Explain this Comment Redlines ready to copy

THE PANEL

Three lawyers, and two of them are trying to prove the first one wrong.

One AI reads your contract and writes the findings. Two more read those findings and argue with them — sharpening a risk, softening an overstatement, or adding what the first one walked past. Every comment is pinned to the finding it answers.

One clause under review: Aden AI's finding on the liability clause, with Sara AI and Liam AI threading their comments onto it. § 8.2 A Aden AI PRIMARY ANALYST CRITICAL Unlimited liability, uncapped. § 8.2 Your exposure isn't limited to the fees you're paid. S Sara AI · second review Agree — and § 12 has no carve-out for gross negligence. L Liam AI · third review Worth trading: offer a mutual cap at 12 months' fees.

Aden AI

Primary analyst

Reads the contract end to end and writes the findings: what's risky, what's missing, what it costs, when it's due. Detail-oriented, and hard on loopholes.

Sara AI

Second review

Reads Aden's findings back against the contract and pushes on them — qualifying a risk, correcting an overstatement, or flagging a clause Aden passed over. Strongest on the people-side agreements.

Liam AI

Third review

Looks for the angle nobody asked for: the trade you could offer, the clause worth conceding, the creative fix. This is where a negotiating position comes from rather than a list of complaints.

You see all three on every finding. Where they disagree is usually the part worth reading twice.

THE REPORT

Seven kinds of finding, one scale of severity.

Everything comes back graded on the same five-step scale, so "critical" means the same thing whether it's a risk, a gap, or a number.

Red flags

The clauses that expose you: uncapped liability, one-sided indemnities, automatic renewals with no way out.

WHAT IT READS

If it's a contract, it reads it.

PDF, Word, HTML or plain text, or a Google Doc straight from your Drive — and scans and photographs too, free analysis included.

YOUR DOCUMENT

Uploaded, read, and gone.

A contract is one of the most sensitive things you own. The product is built so that it doesn't stay with us.

Analyze a contract
  • Destroy the case, permanently

One button, on the report itself. It deletes the case and everything in it, and wipes what the browser kept. It's a feature we advertise, not a setting we hide.

  • Kept only if you have somewhere to keep it

The free analysis shreds your upload the moment it has been read — there is no library to put it in. With a subscription it goes into your case library instead, encrypted, and stays there until you delete it. Neither is ever used to train anything.

  • No account to start

Upload and read the whole report as a guest. We ask for an email only if you want the report sent to you.

  • Models that don't train on you

Third-party models are used under a contractual commitment not to train on data sent through their APIs.

  • Encrypted in the library

AES-256-GCM at rest, with each document's key wrapped by a master key held apart from the storage. Deleting destroys the key, which leaves the bytes unreadable even in backups.

You can delete everything, at any time, in one click. We built that button before we built the report.

AFTER THE REVIEW

The report is where it starts, not where it ends.

Reading the contract is the first job. Changing it, drafting the next one, asking it a question and getting it in front of the other side are the ones that follow — and they all happen in the same place, on the same document.

Google Docs, both ways

Import a document straight from your Drive and write the review back into it — as native tracked suggestions, as plain edits, or as comments anchored in the margin. You pick which, and a failure never quietly hands you one instead of another.

Word redlines, as a .docx

For a negotiation that runs on email. The changes you asked for come back as a Word file with the redline already in it, not as a list of instructions for you to retype.

Ask it about the document

Questions in plain language, answered against the contract in front of you and kept with the case — so the next question already knows what the last one was about.

Tell it a finding is wrong

Say why, and it will rewrite its own finding or reopen one you dismissed. What it cannot do is raise new ones: a comment that can add findings is an analysis at the price of a comment, arriving in the middle of a review you had finished.

Email a contract in

Every case has an address of its own. Forward the message and the attachments land on the matter as documents, waiting for you to accept them — they never join the case on their own.

Cases, clients and a library

Documents, analyses, the timeline, the money terms and the conversation all hang off a case, and cases hang off a client. Encrypted at rest, and searchable across every one of them.

Compare two versions

What actually changed between the draft they sent in March and the one they sent in June — clause by clause, with the version history kept.

All of it runs on the same credit balance. None of it is a separate product.

MORE THAN ONE CONTRACT?

The free scan is one document. Family plans keep every one of them.

Every case, every document, every conversation in one place — encrypted, searchable, kept for as long as you need it.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

How does the analysis actually work?

You upload a contract and tell us which party you are. One AI reads the whole document and writes the findings; two more review those findings and comment on them, pinned to the specific finding they are answering. You then triage every finding, and the ones you want changed come back as specific redline instructions you can copy into the document.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is information for educational purposes and it creates no attorney-client relationship. It is designed to make you better prepared for a conversation with a lawyer, not to replace one. You acknowledge this before you upload.

What happens to my document?

It depends which one you are using. The free analysis deletes your upload as soon as it has been read — it is shredded before the readability check, so even a scan we could not open is gone — and guest case metadata is deleted after 15 days. With a subscription the document is stored, encrypted, in your case library and stays until you delete it. There is a Destroy Case button on every report that deletes everything immediately.

Do I need an account?

No. Your first contract can be uploaded, analyzed and read as a guest — identity is a token in your browser, not an account. An account is needed only once you want more than that one analysis, because credits have to belong to somebody.

What file types can it read?

PDF, Word, HTML and plain text everywhere. Scans, faxes and photographs need OCR — a vision model reading them page by page — and that works on every plan, the free analysis included: it covers up to 10 OCR pages in a file of up to 20MB. On a paid plan there is no page limit at all, because a longer document simply costs more credits.

Which languages does it work in?

The site is in English, Spanish and Italian. The analysis itself can be returned in English, Spanish, French, German or Italian, whichever language the contract is written in — so you can have an Italian contract explained to you in English.

How are stored documents encrypted?

Documents in a case library are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Each document's data key is itself wrapped by a master key that is never stored alongside the data, so the files cannot be read even if the storage were taken. They travel over HTTPS, so they are encrypted in transit too. Deleting a case or a document destroys the key that opens it, which makes the bytes permanently unreadable — including in backups — rather than merely unlinking them. One honest limit: this is server-side encryption, not end-to-end. The service decrypts a document when you ask it to work on one, because three AI lawyers cannot read a contract they cannot open.

Can it work on my Google Doc, or send me a Word file?

Both. A Google Doc is imported straight from your Drive and the review is written back into it — as tracked suggestions, as plain edits, or as comments anchored to the clause they are about. The file stays in your Drive and we keep no copy of it. For everything else, the changes you accepted come back as a .docx with the redline already in it, which is what an email negotiation actually needs.

Can I get a real lawyer involved?

Yes. You can instruct a verified lawyer from inside a case — somebody whose bar registration and insurance we have checked — and share only the documents and analyses you choose with them, in a room kept separate from the rest of your library. We charge nothing for the introduction and take no commission on their fee. Everything up to that point is still information, and still not legal advice.

Legal Advice Now never gives legal advice. It makes you a better-prepared party.
